Philosophy
Wahiawa Baptist Preschool and Kindergarten is a Christian day school under the auspices of the First Baptist Church of Wahiawa. With biblical principles in mind, it is our task to communicate love and acceptance to children to help develop the whole child.
Our primary concern is to provide an environment and experiences to help the child grow in all areas of development which include fine motor, gross motor, cognitive, social, emotional and spiritual development. Our purpose is to help students become responsible citizens, loyal to family, God and country.
The philosophy affirmed by the program is that the preschool child learns best through hands on experimentation and play. We believe that allowing every child to progress at their own pace is crucial. Staff and parents need to be responsive to each child's individual needs and support each others' efforts in meeting each child at their level of development they are at on a daily basis.
